Pom was chosen by her parents because the pronunciation of Pom is similar to that of the Korean word "spring" as well as tiger. Klementieff was born in Canada and lived in Canada for the entire year. The family later travelled throughout the world, due to the work of her father. The family lived throughout Japan, Ivory Coast and France prior to moving to France.
