Hayley Orantia is an American singer, actress and acrobat. People are most familiar with her as Erica Goldberg in the comedy TV series 'The Goldbergs'. However, she's primarily a music lover. Music is her first love, she maintains; it is something she has dabbled into when she was just 9 years old. When she was 12, music became important enough to begin professional training. In the age of 13, she began making music. The first time she recorded an album in the age of 14. Since then, there's no looking back. Orrantia has Hispanic heritage, yet was born in USA. While she has never lived in or spoke Spanish in Mexico However, she is strongly proud of her Hispanic culture. To keep her heritage alive she's learning Spanish. Additionally, she creates songs that incorporate the Spanish language. One of her attempts was the creation of a Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for the first season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was chosen from the submission of a YouTube video that she submitted and got the judges' four "yes" no votes by judges at the time of live auditions held in Seattle, Washington. The first time she auditioned, she was solo however, during "Hollywood Week" she was placed together with three female singers to form a trio during remaining auditions. The group was eliminated at the fifth week in the Live program.
